Hello people of the world and welcome back to another blog post!!! Today I am will be talking to you about what I'm doing for passion project!! The people I am doing my passion project with are; Billy, Luke, and Alex. 

Am I the only one who agrees with this?

Basically what we're doing is making a really lame superhero trailer with lame made up superheroes and villains that have lame super powers. We're trying to make it so bad that it's gonna be good (to me, I think it's probably going to be bad nonetheless).

So far we're just writing the script for now but when we finish it we're gonna start filming it most likely at school. I think my group is going to film it with Billy's camera but we have no idea how to edit it. 

I'm playing two parts in the trailer. The narrator and the villain, The Pun-isher (I didn't come up with the name just saying). The rest of my group are the heroes which are Luke who is called "Captain Drawsome", Billy who is called Master Cube-way, and Alex which is still not decided yet. To be honest all the names are super cringe to me but you can't blame me because I didn't come up with a single name I just said.

The Holidays were the HOLY-DAYS!!! (Did you get the pun?)

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!!!! If you don't know this is the first post of term 4 which means I just came back from the holidays. Because of this I am forced to write about something I did in the holidays so today I am going to write about my trip to Hamilton with my family!!

On the second Tuesday of the holidays my family and I started our long drive to Hamilton. On the way we ate some breakfast and lunch, as well as picking up my dad's cousin who is visiting New Zealand for a while. When we arrived at the holiday home we unpacked all our things and watched a movie to finish of the night. 

On Wednesday we went to four different places. An "ice age" themed mini golf place (which I lost to JL by 6 strokes), a rock climbing place which was really fun, An escape room where you had to solve puzzles and locks to escape in under 60 minutes which is harder than you think but we still escaped in 57 minutes (which is 6 minutes of the record) then we visited my dad's friends for dinner. My favourite thing we did that day was the rock climbing because I kept racing my brother on some walls.

The third day was ,to me, okay. We started off by doing a 10 minute walk to a waterfall which was pretty cool until we found out that there are 4 different viewing platforms, one a right next to the top of the waterfall, one on the same level but farther out, a midway view 135 steps down, and a view all the way at the bottom 126 steps down more. The best part of it was climbing all the way up (btw; it's 261 steps all together which is more than climbing up to the fifth floor of the beehive.) And if you think that's hard, half of the steps were over half a metre and I'm not even exaggerating.


After that we drove to Raglan and ate lunch there which was great! Then we visited the St Mary Cathedral somewhere in Hamilton and after that we came home. For dinner we had my dad's friends came over for dinner until around 9 or 10 pm.

The next day we packed up everything and left. We dropped by Taupō to have lunch then we drove straight home and unpacked.

End of Term 3!

This post is the last post of the term and (like last term) I don't know what to do on this post except waste your time reading this for absolutely no reason. This time I am going to change things up since the last post... By doing the same thing as last time which is put a bunch of end of term pictures 😃😃

Today I am writing about some thing related to school. Hmm. Let's see. I can probably choose from the NIWA science fair, the minecraft parliament trip(s), tech, art exhibition or Nairnville athletics. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I guess I'll have to choose 🙁🙁🙁. How do I choose? Hey! I know! Eeny meeny miny moe, catch a tiger by the toe. If he hollers, let him go. Eeny meeny miny moe. (before you ask, I searched the lyrics up) Oh no. I ended up with Nairnville. Never mind, I'm just going to choose because it is too hard. I choose... all of them! Just kidding I'll choose the NIWA and Parliament trip. (I just wasted 98 words of your life) Let's finally get into the post after 209 words.

So let's first talk about the NIWA science fair. I learnt that in big science fair events you have to wait about 2 hours until you are judged by the main judges. I mostly killed the time by playing around with my Rubik's cube and talking to friends and these St Bernard people who were across me. Towards the end my mum came around and handed me my brother's phone to play with so I don't get super BOARD! (Another pun) Here and there some "special judges" or what I like to call them "sponsor judges" come around and look at your board and occasionally they ask you questions. The thing I enjoyed I about it was... Actually, come to think of it. It was mainly boring and not that much fun was happening.

Now onto the Minecraft Parliament project. Posts about this is HERE and on 2 or 3 different posts NOT HERE. At the time of me writing this post, we have just finished our project and have shown it to the other schools and medias that were at the final tour. The things I learnt whilst building Parliament was; working together as a team, have good communication, sticking to the plan and that we were the only school to actually build things. The reason why I think that is because the other schools practically built nothing compared to us. We built more in the Parliament house than the school that were actually focusing on just building it by itself while we're building the Beehive as well. The thing I enjoyed the most was the function we had at the end. There were lots of news people interviewing us. (including One News, NewsHub, and Prime News) But the sad thing is that we were all excited to be on TV and on the news but it turned out that we were only in a small bit of Prime News where you can only see Tyler controlling and moving around. (not even NewsHub or One News talked about it even though they interview us. Unless they are going to show it tomorrow or a later date.)
