SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES

Image result for spongebob responsibilityHello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!!!! Today I'll be talking to you about the responsibilities I have to do in school. (I should think of more creative intros)

In school I'm one of the only year 7s to have four responsibilities which are road patrol, sports monitor, class fitness leader (CFL), and tech support.
Image result for spongebob responsibilityI think I help students for all my roles. For road patrol I help the younger kids cross safely without any injuries, and for sports monitor I bring out the sports cart for the rest of the school to play with as well as packing up when the bell rings. We have a roster for CFL that says who is on with who and also when they're on. Tech support helps out everyone in the school by making sure that the laptops are plugged in properly and as well as helping other students and teachers with other tech problems.

I enjoy all my responsibilities I have because, to me, I like helping out lots of people and it makes you feel like you accomplished something. I haven't really learnt much things about my responsibilities except for learning a few quick tips here and there about tech.

The only thing I would change about a role I have is on tech support. I would make tech support have more jobs or have a more active roster that can be remembered easier instead of just remembering to check if the laptops are plugged in properly.

So that's about it this week for this post so I'll see you guys next week!!!!!! (I should also think of more creative outros as well)

Cross Country!

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!!!! Today I'll be talking to you about how I well I did in the cross country last Tuesday.

Gotta go fast!!!!

Most of the time, during the cross country, I was running next to T.J until the final stretch which we both sprinted our hearts out to get the final northern zone spot. At the end T.J ended up finishing in front of me by about a metre which means I came sixth place.

I would say my fitness improved because last year I had to run 1.5 km and this year I ran 2 km and I was no where near as tired as I was last year. I also think I showed perseverance because at the final stretch I nearly bet T.J because I started sprinting as fast as I could not giving up and trying to beat him even though he was about 6 metres ahead of me but, like I said before, I nearly caught up to him and lost by only about a metre.

One of my excuses for lacking a bit of speed was coming back from a holiday trip only 5 days before the cross country which means I didn't get to train as much as I usually do.

So that's about it this week for my blog so I'll see you later!!!!!!!!!!

MUST READ BOOK REPORT! (not really)

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog! (Yay!) Today I'll be talking to you about this book I read last term. The book is by a woman named Lara Williamson and it is called 'A Boy Called Hope'.

The Title page of the book

This book is about an 11 year old boy named Dan Hope who has a list of things he wants to happen such as; his sister studying at a school at Antarctica and only coming back once a year for 24 hours, and going to the moon on a spaceship named 'Hope 1', but the thing he wants the most... is a Dad. His Dad left the family when he was 7 and has never saw him since.

Most of the book talks about him cleaning up the mess with a lot of other problems on the side but they all add up together.

Why I liked this book is probably because I liked the plot of the story and how it sounds simple, but the author kept throwing in problems that make the solution harder but at the same time it got me hooked into it even more. Another reason I liked the story was the ending. I know I'm not really a person who's into ending but I liked the way how the story ended in a message about never giving up on your dreams. I could talk about the ending more but I don't want to give any spoilers on how it ends so I'm just gonna say that the ending is sad but it still leaves you happy because of the message it is sending.

The back of the book
Zoom in to read the back!

The character I would most likely relate to is Christopher, Dan's best friend. Why I think I am similar to him is because that he is always there to cheer Dan up even at the hardest. Another reason is that both of us can play guitar really well and are really smart about other things.

If I would give this a star rating out of 5 it would probably be 4.5 because it's nearly perfect but it's not quite there. The book I would give a five on is my favourite book called 'Boy in the tower' but I won't get into that quite yet.

To me the genre of this book is adventure and a bit of mystery which I like about the book and why it hooked me in even more.

So that's about it this week for my blog so I'll see you guys later!!! 🙂🙂
