Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! Today is probably my last post ever on my blog as I will be moving to college next year which means I no longer have to do this but I might just post a random thing because I'll be bored but apart from that, I'll be gone. Isn't this really emotional? No? Did I ruin the moment? ok.
GOODBYE WORLD!!
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about how my speech went. My speech was about why animal names are bad. Overall I think I did pretty well with my speech and according to other people, it was really good.
During my speech, I still had cue cards but I only looked at it once or twice since I basically memorise my whole speech. I rare;y stumbled with my words and I gestured to my pictures to show what I am talking about.
I wouldn't change anything about my speech because if I add anything, it might make it too long or something else. I did change how I showed my pictures last minute but I think it was the right decision because otherwise, it would be confusing.
One of my favourite speeches was Jaoquin's. His speech was basically about insults and how you should be careful when you say them. To me, he made good and clear points and overall I enjoyed it because I learnt a lot.
So that's going to be it this week for my blog and I'll see you guys next week!
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about what I think the world would be like in 50 years. Overall I think technology will be a lot cooler and nature would be the same because of the reasons I'm about to tell you.
The first thing is technology. I think there would be fancier technology as science would have most likely expanded quite a lot compared to now. I think smaller companies would become a lot bigger as other well-known companies will become old. I still think companies like Apple and Microsoft would be big if not bigger but there would still be a wider range of brands people use.
I think nature would probably be around the same just maybe a little bit worse but not by as much as other people have been saying. If you think about it, more and more companies have been becoming greener and it 50 year's time, people would find better solutions on making the world better as well as more companies becoming green. Obviously, it may become worse by a bit. You can't control everyone to be green and there are some things that you can't fix but overall it should still be fine.
With these two things colliding, I don't know how that would work out as it usually takes long to realise things are harmful. The same things happened with plastic. It took them a long time to figure out it's bad but by then the damage had already been done.
Anyways, thanks for reading my blog and I hope to see you guys next week!
Hello, people of the world and welcome back to my Blog! Today I will be talking about my favourite picture book when I was young. I had to do the same last year so it will be a bit similar but I think that's ok.
My favourite book as a child is called "the boring book". It's written by Vasanti Unka and is about how letters become alive and why they are important.
I remember when we used to go to the library as a class and before we were allowed to browse around our old librarian (Penny) usually read us a book. One time she read the boring book and I instantly liked it.
I've read the book probably at least 15 times but I'm not completely sure how many times I have read it. I haven't read it recently as I have grown up (not by height).
So........... That's about it for my blog this week and I'll see you guys next week!
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! Today I will talk about what my dream job is. But I'll probably end up leaning towards what job I'll end up doing because I haven't thought much about what I'll be doing in the future. The jobs I have sort of considered are probably accounting, engineering or IT
One of the reasons I think I would be a good accountant is because I am good at maths. Most of the the time statistics is a part of accounting. I enjoy statistics and would like to think I am pretty good at it. The studies I think I have to take for this is a bunch of maths stuff like statistics so overall, I wouldn't mind having this job because it wouldn't be too hard.
Another job I wouldn't mind doing is engineering. I think I am decent at designing as long as it's on the computer and not by hand. I would also think that I wouldn't be that bad at building and that kind of stuff. For engineering I don't know what to study but I would guess you'd have to do things like design.
The last job I could have is IT. Most people know me for having quite a bit of knowledge in technology so I am already capable for the basics of this job. I would just have to study more technical things that go really in depth.
So that's about it this week for my blog so I'll see you guys next week!!
Hello People of the word and welcome back to my blog!! Just to get this out of the way, the picture above has nothing to do with this post even though it's so cute!! Anyways... Today I am going to talk about how to make the final term of the year the best it can be. (Not about the athletics like I predicted in my last post)
If you don't know already, this year is my last year at school before I head to college. which means it's also my last term ever at my school which is kind of depressing. I am also one of the people who's been at my school for all eight years or 32 terms.
I can make things run smoothly by having better time management. (which is one of the goals I set at the beginning of the year) This means finishing your tasks early and being responsible. It also helps not stressing out the teachers by listening and doing things the first time they say it.
Another way of having the best last term possible is by supporting each other. As I have been here for a long time, I know that lots of people go through a lot of stress when it comes closer to the end of the year because they have a lot of responsibilities. (Including me!)
When it comes to having fun activities, I like the traditional games and events like Big Day Out, cake decorating competition and Secret Santa. I would like to do the year 8 assembly as well but I heard for some reason we're not doing it this year which I'm pretty guttered about, but that's a whole new topic I can ramble about for a really long time.
Overall, I would love to have a great last term ever at school because it will be sad when I leave because I have been here for so long that it won't feel right going to another school next year.
That's going to be it for my blog post this week and I'll see you guys next time!!!
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my great blog!! Today I am going to talk about how my holidays went since they ended a couple of days ago. I didn't do much these holidays except for staying at home when the weather was sunny 90% of the time.
Most of the days of the holidays I was usually on my laptop playing games but if I'm not playing games, I am usually reading. I have recently started reading the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore as I read the first two books during the holidays.
The only other thing that happened this past holiday is my brother's friends coming over for a sleepover again. We played a game called "Mad Libs" outside which is bascically a try not to laugh with water in our mouths except there's a bit of a twist. The other exciting thing we did was we had a Harry Potter movie marathon where we watched all eight movies back to back which took us like 26 hours. (Including breaks for games and sleep)
Well that's it for my first blog of the term and I'll see you guys next week! (Which will probably be about the school athletics that is happening this week)
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! Today I am going to talk about my dream holiday. (du du du du du du) I'm not much of a holiday person but if I was to have a holiday that I plan as well as not having a spending limit I would do a lot of things I can't even imagine. The people who I would go with are probably my family and close friends.
My favourite places to go when I have holidays are usually amusement parks so if I got to choose I would probably go to somewhere like a Disneyland or Universal Studios that I haven't been to before.
The things I would to at the park is obviously go on lots of lines, eat a bunch of food and basically have a good time. Other things I usually do on holidays is play a lot of mini golf. I don't what's with me but everytime I go on holiday for some reason I always play mini golf with my brother, even though he always beats me. (literally out of probably over 15 games, I've never bet him)
That's it for MY DREAM HOLIDAY!!! (du du du du du du) And I'll see you guys next week!!
Hello people of the world and welcome back to my VERY INTERESTING blog!! Today I will be talking about how the Production went. If you don't know the happened last Wednesday and Thursday and overall, it went pretty well.
I remembered all my lines, actions and dance moves correctly. The only minor thing that went wrong with me is that my timing for my speaking part was too early for the song but it was hardly noticeable.
The rest of my family watched on the Thursday night they said that they liked the songs and dancing especially my one and the reporters dance. Their favourite actors were Candy King and Curly.
I was very proud of my performance for both acting and dancing as well my timing for the sound effects. The only REALLY BIG disaster was on the Thursday night performance. When it was the cue to play our dance there was a minute or 2 silence mostly because of me. What I was supposed to do was just before I went backstage to get prepared for my dance was click through a bunch of files to get to the song on itunes so it's all prepared for the guy next to me to fill in while I was away. But what actually happened was that I forgot to set up the song for the guy next to me so when the song was about to start I had quickly run all the way back around to the back of the stage to get to the computer then play the song and run back onto the stage 30 seconds into the song. That was the only major disaster happened. Other things that happened was forgetting lines but not many people noticed it.
The thing I enjoyed the most was all the dancing. That includes the senior citizen dance and the 2 finale dances. I enjoyed them because (like I've said in my other 4 production posts) I enjoy dancing and music overall.
That's gonna be it for my VERY INTERESTING blog post this week and I'll see you guys next time!!
*No pictures by the way because I'm too lazy 😉😉
