What does the future hold?

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!!! On this post I shall be talking about what I'm doing next year being a year 8. Honestly, I'm sort of excited for year 8 but I'm not too enthusiastic. The main things I will be excited for is; Production, OPC Camp and bossing around the future year 7's like what the year 8's do to me.

One of the main things I will try to do next year is have better time management. I'm not saying I have trouble with my tasks but I usually finish them on Friday mornings or Thursday afternoon. (I don't care if people call that early because I think it's late) Another thing I want to do next year is get a main role in the production. At the time I'm am writing this I don't know what it's gonna be about but I think I could be good at getting one of the comedic roles. I don't want any of the super duper main roles but some people say that I could easily get a comedic role.

As I said before I am very excited for the production next year but Another thing I am also excited for is year 8 camp!! I am excited for camp because most people say it's really fun and I am excited for the activities we will be doing. 

One of things that is going to be challenging for me (and for the rest of my year) is being patient with some of the future year 7's. Some of them, to me, are okay but most of them, hardly anyone can stand. It's apparently a tradition that the year 8's always hate the year 7's and so it's not just me being salty.

Book Week!

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! This post is about book week and book character day which we had last week. If you don't know what book week is, we basically had a bunch of book related things going on in the library as well as book related tasks. On the Friday we get to dress up as our favourite book character for the day and the house captains get to award prizes to the best dressed people.

On Friday I dressed up as my FAVOURITE book character. (emphasis on "favourite") I dressed up as AN INNOCENT BYSTANDER!!! Since I'm not into books much I couldn't really dress up as anyone I like. All I read is the "last thirteen series" which has hardly any pictures and certainly doesn't have pictures of the characters. (btw: you should read the last thirteen. Not a paid promotion)

One our book week tasks last week was to read a picture book to the rest of the class. I wanted to read "the boring book" by Vasanti Unka (to see the post about the book click HERE) but since it was issued I had to pick a random book off the shelf. I eventually chose "HOWZAT!" by Mike Lefroy. It's basically a rhyming book about cricket all around the world. I sorta enjoyed reading to the class but I felt like no one was listening so I gave trying halfway in to the book. 

Another of our book week tasks last week was picking 3 activities about books. I chose to do a book review (I did it on the last thirteen series), read a book to a small child, and filmed a scene from a book. My favourite activity we did was filming the scene. Billy, Cole, Alex H, Rodgers and I all filmed a scene from the hobbit together. Since I haven't read the book or seen the movie recently I had no idea what was happening most of the time. Luckily I was the camera man so I don't have to be in any of the scenes. My favourite scene we did was when Billy (can't remember the name of the character but it was like Bard or something like that) shot Smaug (Cole) and fell to the ground. I liked it because it showed Cole pretending to fly and then suddenly switching to Billy shooting an arrow where you can clearly hear it fall to the ground but it switches back to Cole and somehow hits him.

My favourite picture book as a child

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! Today I shall be talking to you guys about a book I read when I was young and that is called "the boring book" by Vasanti Unka. I read this book when I was 8 or 9 years old and I liked it.

The first time I read was when we went to the school library as a class and Penny (our old librarian) read it to us. After that we started issuing it for our class library and I've liked it since.

The main story line of the book is basically going over the saying "don't judge a book by its cover". In detail it's about words and letters coming out of books and going on signs and other things making people happy until something goes wrong... (Read the book if you want to find out what's next) 



I don't completely know how many times I have read it (as it is a picture book) but it's most likely at least 10 or 15. I don't know why I like the book so much but it's probably because I read so much I just stuck to it for a really long time.

The rating for this book is a 4.9439746531547896534131684 out of 5 which I think it's pretty good as I am not eaeasily excited about books.

Something is wrong with me.

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!! Today I am allowed to talk about anything because I was just released from prison! (sarcasm) What I have to do is write something INTERESTING. To me, that's a big word. Look at this photo of how my life looks like.

For this post I have chosen to talk about Basketball!! If you don't know what Basketball is well bad luck this isn't a post to learn about Basketball. It's a post ABOUT Basketball. Jeez, I expect better from people on the internet. 

If you don't know me, or if you don't know me much. I like to play Basketball quite a lot. I have practices on Thursdays, and play on Fridays. Adding on to that I play lots in my free time and at school. 

Basketball has literally become part of my life. I nearly play everyday as well as I enjoy it. I even play Basketball video games like NBA 2k16 and 2k17 (still don't have 2k18 😞) Used to play NBA Live Mobile, and play those random games like bouncy baskets to name others.

Best team in the NBA!!!!!!

Tech Reflection #2

Hello people of the world and welcome back to my blog!!!!! Today I will be talking to all of you guys about what I am doing for tech! As you might know I am doing cooking this term and so far it's going pretty well.

Since I am in cooking, we don't make anything in particular. All we do is get told what we're cooking, get shown how to cook it, then do it ourselves. 

The thing I find challenging is focusing and being on task. What I mean is knowing what to do at the right time instead of just waiting for one thing for five minutes when I could do something else.

What I enjoy doing at cooking is bringing the food home. I like it because you can show your disappointed parents that you finally did something but when you show it to them they sound proud and when you're not looking, they put it in a bin, then burn it, then bury deep into the ground.
